Free! American Girl: Just Between Us Event at Barnes and Noble Naperville. We're proud to join American Girl with a fun workshop, Just Between Us: A Parent and Daughter Event on March 22nd at 2:00 p.m. This event is based on The Care and Keeping of You for girls age 8+, as well as other books in the Smart Girl’s Guide line. The event will help parents and girls open the lines of communication at a time in a girls lives when they may be feeling more self-conscious about their body images, emotions, and peer interactions. Topics that could be lightly touched on in this event include: body image, hygiene, puberty, confidence, self-esteem, friendship, emotions, bullying, and parent-daughter relationships.
